COMPARISON
Solo Vault vs the iPhone Hidden album
The Hidden album in Apple Photos hides pictures from your main view and is unlocked with your phone's Face ID or passcode. Solo Vault adds its own code, separate AES-256 encryption, files and notes, and multiple vaults.
Same code as your phone
The Hidden album opens with your iPhone passcode or Face ID, so anyone who knows your phone passcode can open it. Solo Vault uses its own separate code.
Photos only
The Hidden album is for photos and videos. Solo Vault also holds files and notes.
One album vs several vaults
Solo Vault lets you create multiple vaults that each open with a different code.
